beard quest

Does anyone know the name of the beard that goes around the mouth and chin and is very thin and boxlike? I am wondering what the official name of this is...surprisingly enough i can't find an accurate picture of what im trying to describe, but i feel like i see this beard around a lot. is it a variation of the goatee?
